How To Adjust Your Frames

You placed an order on meeglasses.com and waited for a few days. Now you receive your new glasses. You are trying them on.

Oh! They are crooked!

That is OK. Sometimes the eyeglasses need to be adjusted. In the past, when you bought from the local optical shop at a very expensive price , the opticians adjusted the frames for you.

Now you can do it on your own, according to the following steps.

Please don't worry. Your frames may stand a little bending. Or when you have been wearing them for a long time and they may be out of shape, you just need to make the adjustments.

1.The frames are sitting low on your nose

For frames with adjustable nose pads: Use your thumbs to push the nose pads closer together until they fit well on your nose. Or you can adjust the temple arms directly.
For plastic frames: Put your glasses in a bowl of warm water for about 45 seconds. Carefully apply an inward and downward pressure to temple arms to achieve a tighter fit behind the ears.

2.The frames are pressing your nose

For frames with adjustable nose pads: Use your thumbs to spread the nose pads out until they fit comfortably.
For plastic frames: Place your glasses in a bowl of warm water for about 45 seconds. Carefully apply an outward and upward pressure to temple arms to achieve a comfortable fit behind the ears.

3.One lens is higher than the other

If the one lens is higher than the other lens, please bend the hinge or bend the temple arm at your ear.

4.One lens is closer to your eye than the other

If one lens is closer to your eye than the other, please bend the temple arm in or out at the hinge.

Notice: Some frames cannot be adjusted: titanium, memory titanium, memory plastic and so on.
